Declutter: 10 Things in Your Bathroom to Get Rid of Today

10 Ways to Declutter Your Bathroom Right Now

KonMari My Life! How to Declutter Your Bathroom

I’ve been watching Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, and it’s so inspiring! I have so much clutter and more things than I can fit in my small two-bedroom city apartment. So my husband, Gregg, and I have been slowly but surely going through our things and clearing the clutter.

Your bathroom is supposed to be a place to relax and wash away the stresses of the day. But if your bathroom is filled with clutter (like mine), it’s hard to see it as a spa retreat. One of the best ways to start getting your bathroom organized is to declutter. I’m working on this now and I thought I’d share some of my thoughts. Getting rid of these 10 items in your bathroom today will help you remove some of the clutter and get your bathroom organized in no time.

Makeup

Holding on to old makeup not only clutters your bathroom, but it can also be a health hazard. All types of makeup have expiration dates, so the first step to organizing your bathroom is to toss all your old makeup. You can also throw out all shades you tried and didn’t like, as well as makeup you don’t plan on using any time soon. You can donate or give to a friend, but only if you’re sure the makeup is not expired.

Makeup Brushes

After sifting through your makeup, start working your way through our makeup brushes. Throw away all the brushes that are losing their fibers, in addition to ones you never use. My collection of brushes was out of control, and in reality, I only use about 10 brushes, so I had a major brush clean out!

Skin Care Products

Take inventory of all the skin care products you have in your bathroom. Throw away all the products you don’t use and everything that may be past its prime. Some products go bad faster than others. Open the jar, or pump it into your hand – if it’s changed color, consistency, or smell, throw it away (don’t donate stuff like this). If it’s new (but you’re not using it) and in a pump, spray or other non-jar container (because if you dipped your fingers in it, that’s gross), then you can consider donating or giving to a friend.

Hair Products

It’s also important to go through all your hair products to throw away any products you don’t use, as well. I tend to have a lot of duplicates of the same type of product (so many dry shampoos, hair oils, hair thickeners, etc.). Do you have hair products that are collecting dust? If you haven’t used them in months, you will probably never use them. Donate or toss.

Nail Polish

While nail polish may last longer than other cosmetics, it does have an expiration date. Throw away all the nail polish in your bathroom that has an odd texture or smell. You should also toss or donate any colors you no longer like.

Hair Accessories

Take a look at all your hair accessories. Throw away any accessories you haven’t worn in a while, in addition to throwing out broken brushes and combs you no longer need. Got any hair ties that are about to break from being overstretched? Get rid of em!

Beauty Appliances

Sort through your appliances – hair dryer, straightener, foot bath, electric razors, etc. – to determine which items you use and which you don’t. Give away ones you have no use for, and throw out ones that don’t work. If you’re unsure of whether an appliance sparks joy, plug it in and see if it does what it’s supposed to do, then decide if you need it or not. If you haven’t used it in six months, you’re probably not going to use it.

Medication

You shouldn’t be keeping medication in the bathroom at all! The warm, damp environment is not ideal for prescriptions and supplements. But since we’re on the subject, expired medication can be dangerous, so start by throwing away all over-the-counter medication and prescriptions that have expired.

Towels

Toss out all towels and washcloths that are stained or ripped. Then, throw away towels your family doesn’t like because they’re too scratchy, soft, etc. I always keep a few “gross towels” for bathing my dog, rinsing off after using hair dye or faux tanner, or for cleaning up spills, but I keep them in a different area.

Cleaning Supplies

Finally, pull out all the cleaning supplies you keep in your bathroom. If you have more than one bottle of the same item, combine them and throw away the extra bottle. Then throw out any cleaners that you don’t use, in addition to sponges and scrub brushes that are old and worn.

How to Find Pretty Houseplants that are Safe for Pets

how to find houseplants that are safe for pets

8 Pretty Houseplants that are Safe for Pets

Houseplants are a great way to improve the air quality of your home and add some beautiful greenery to your décor. But if you have pets at home, houseplants can be a dangerous addition to your décor. If you’re worried about accidentally adding a toxic plant to your home, I have you covered! These eight pretty houseplants are safe for dogs, cats and other pets.

Polka Dot Plant

The adorable spotted leaves of the Polka Dot Plant will add a cute splash of color to your home without taking too much space. These non-toxic plants are perfect for miniature gardens and terrariums. And they come in a variety of colors, so they’ll work with any décor.

Plants safe for pets cats and dogs - spider plant

Spider plant – dog and cat friendly

Spider Plant

This popular houseplant is a great choice for a home with pets. In addition to being cat and dog friendly, this striking plant adds a ton of vibrancy to your home. The spider plant thrives pretty much anywhere indoors, including pots or hanging baskets.

Wax Plant

This easy-to-grow houseplant is great for purifying the air in your home and adding some greenery to any room. And you can have peace of mind adding it to your home knowing it’s safe for dogs and cats.

Plants that are safe for cats and dogs - African Violet

Pet Safe Plant – African Violet

African Violet

If you’re searching for a way to add a fresh floral houseplant to your home’s décor, the African Violet is a great choice. Not only is it safe for your furry friends, it’s also a wonderful way to add a pop of color to any room.

Bamboo

For a big statement that’s also safe for your pets, opt for bamboo. These towering houseplants will make an impact in any room while also being nontoxic to both dogs and cats.

Pet Safe Plants for Cats and Dogs - Hens and Chicks succulent

Pet Safe Plants – Sempervivum tectorum (Hens and Chicks)

Hens and Chicks

With the growing popularity of succulents, finding one that works for your home with pets may be a challenge because some succulent varieties are toxic to animals. But hens and chicks are safe for homes with animals – and they add some great visual appeal to any room. Stay away from the Jade succulent – it’s not safe for pets.

Prayer Plant

For a smaller decorative accent perfect for bookshelves or end tables, choose the Prayer Plant. While this little houseplant doesn’t take up much space, it’s unique (and non-toxic) striped leaves add tons of visual appeal.

Pet Safe Plants for Dogs and Cats - Boston Fern

Pet Safe Plants for Dogs and Cats – Boston Fern

Boston Fern

Ferns are wonderful natural air filters, making them a great choice for your home. While some varieties of ferns can be harmful to animals (like the asparagus fern which is actually part of the lily family), the Boston Fern is perfectly safe for pets.

Always double-check to make sure any plants (or cut flowers) are pet safe before you bring them home. The ASPCA has a great list of plants that are toxic and non-toxic to cats, dogs and horses. If your pet is eating large amounts, any plant can cause gastrointestinal problems, so keep an eye on them, and go to your vet if your pet is acting strange (not eating or drinking, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.). If you believe that your animal is ill or may have ingested a poisonous substance, contact either your vet or the APCC 24-hour emergency poison hotline at 1-888-426-4435.

Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation – Hit or Miss?

Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation review by My Beauty Bunny

Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation Review and Swatches

This was originally posted on cruelty free beauty, health, and lifestyle blog, www.mybeautybunny.com. If you’re reading it on another website, the content has been stolen.

I may be a bit behind on sharing Becca Cosmetics Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation, but better late than never, right? Some of you may have already picked this one up and given it a try so I’ll appreciate your feedback on it as well, because it’s always nice to hear from a few sources rather than just one, right?

If you haven’t tried the Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation, you’ll want to know that this is considered a medium coverage, natural finish foundation. It comes in 24 shades in the warm, golden, neutral and cool categories.

I’m a fan of the packaging, with it being a flexible squeezy tube with a pump top making it a good travel choice since there’s no glass and it’s on the smaller size in my opinion. One full pump was more than enough for my face and I had to scale back slightly to get the right amount dispensed. So a little goes a long way.  It’s also on the thicker side making it easy to apply with your hands much like a sunscreen so you can skip the brush (if you want). I like to go over it with a damp blender to thin out a bit for a light to medium coverage finish.

I played with this foundation on and off for over a month or two. During that time I was a big fan of using primers because they worked with my other foundations well and when you get into a routine, you tend to stick to it without realizing. No matter how many times I tried this foundation with primers it just didn’t seem to stay well for me. I tried poreless primers, moisturizing primers and even matte primers trying to see which would make this foundation a team player and it was a major fail.

But in the name of beauty blogging science, I pushed on. I scaled back on what products I put on my face before applying this primer and figured out the sweet combo that worked well for my 30+, on the drier side skin. I spritz my face with a moisturizing spritz like Pixi Beauty Rose Glow Mist or Colorescience Hydrating Mist, and follow with the Rose Caviar Essence, then apply the foundation. The trend I was FINALLY picking up on was that my skin needed to be hydrated but not covered in a cream moisturizer or any primers. They also recommend trying it over Skin Love Glow Elixir which had similar results for me.

Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation review and swatches by My Beauty Bunny

With the correct combination of products on my face I was happy with the wear and feel of it throughout the day. Makeup goes on usually around 9-10 in the morning and gets washed off around 5 pm. And I always love using my favorite palette EVER with this foundation; the BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face palette (please Becca Cosmetics, NEVER, EVER discontinue this, it’s perfection in a palette).

Becca Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation swatches by My Beauty Bunny

Would I say this foundation is a must? It might be for someone who like to teeter between lightweight coverage aided by a damp beauty blender, or needs fuller coverage on those days where you want a little more help. I know I’ll be keeping three shades in my foundation rotation drawer because it suits my skin well.

Have you tried the Skin Love Weightless Blur Foundation? What are your thoughts?

Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual by Phyrra

Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual by Courtney Nawara

Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual

If you or a friend has hooded eyes, this makeup tutorial compilation is a must have! The Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual by Courtney Nawara (AKA Phyrra) is the book I’ve been waiting for. Seriously – it’s about time someone created a makeup manual for people with hooded eyes!

If you don’t know what hooded eyes are, it basically means you can’t see the part of your lid under the crease (AKA your “mobile lid”) when you are looking directly into a mirror. Lots of beautiful celebs have hooded eyes – like Blake Lively, Dita von Teese, Jennifer Lawrence and many, many more!

Techniques for makeup application are completely different if you have hooded eyes. So if you’ve been following beauty guru makeup tutorials and feeling like you’re missing something, this may be why!

My cruelty free beauty blogging BFF @Phyrra is the queen of eye makeup looks for hooded eyes, and she’s been working on this amazing book for over two years. There are tons of colorful, artsy and wearable looks in this guide.

I have two books to give away! You can enter here. Giveaway ends Jan 24th at 11:59 pm PST. US only – see post for complete rules.

Verabella Aloe Tea Tree Healing Gel is a Must Have for Everyone

Verabella Aloe Tea Tree Gel

Verabella Aloe Tea Tree Healing Gel Review

As a beauty and lifestyle blogger, I’m always trying the new launches, and always looking for the next big thing. It occupies so much time, keeping up with beauty brands and their new releases, that I sometimes forget to tell you guys about my tried and true, must-have products! I really need to do an all-time best cruelty free products post. Hopefully I’ll get around to making that happen. But in the meantime, you really need to know about this gem from Verabella Spa.

I’ve been going to Verabella Spa in Beverly Hills for cruelty free facials off and on for more years than I can count. Way back in the day, they introduced me to their Aloe Tea Tree Healing Gel. I have combination skin and I’ve struggled with acne my whole adult life, so I was immediately intrigued. I actually think this is a must have product for ALL skin types, but I’ll get to that in a minute.

Verabella was started by celebrity aesthetician, Vera Kantor. When she was young, she learned her Russian mother’s and grandmother’s homemade skincare recipes. She and her adult daughter, Victoria, have perfected the recipes over the years, and have brought them to market using the same natural ingredients. The products are made in the USA, cruelty free, vegetarian (many are vegan), and you can see a full list of ingredients on their website, along with EWG ratings for each.

The (vegan) Aloe Tea Tree Healing Gel is great for healing, killing bacteria and hydrating skin. It’s made with certified organic aloe vera, witch hazel, tea tree oil, calendula, arnica, vegetable glycerin, cornflower and panthenol (Vitamin B5). It’s a non-sticky gel that feels so comforting to my skin. This is great as a light moisturizer for acne-prone and oily skin types. Those with combination or dry skin can use a heavier moisturizer on top. It’s also great to use post-laser for gentle healing, or as an after-shave.

One of the best acne-fighting tools in my arsenal is my high frequency machine. It’s surprisingly affordable (less than fifty bucks) and it works so well for acne. I even brought it with me to Scotland for my wedding! Plus, I’m told it may help with hair growth, so I’m just starting to test it for that. I have found that the Verabella Aloe Tea Tree gel works very well as a conductor and lubricant when I’m using the high frequency device. So, overall I’m a huge fan, and I will keep buying this amazing skin-healing product!

Vegan and cruelty free

Is Cosmedix Cruelty Free?

Is Cosmedix cruelty free?

Is Cosmedix Cruelty Free?

I’ve had some of you ask me, “Is Cosmedix cruelty free?” And honestly, I wasn’t sure because it’s not a skincare brand I’ve been that familiar with over the years. I reached out to Cosmedix to determine if they are truly cruelty free, use cruelty free ingredient suppliers and avoid selling in retail stores in regions that test on animals (like most provinces in China). Here’s how they answered my eight cruelty free questions (via email):

Hello Jen!

Please see below (in bold) the answers to your questions. We hope this information helps!

Have a great day!

Kaleigh H.

1. Are the finished products tested on animals by the company, a parent company, a third party or an affiliate company? NO

2. Are the products tested on animals during the production process by the company, a parent company, a third party or an affiliate company? NO

3. Do you have documents from your ingredient suppliers to show that they are not testing on animals for your brand or any other brand? Yes. We sell most of our products in Europe, which requires non-animal testing statements against the ingredients as well. It is against the law to test on animals in Europe.

4. Does your manufacturer purchase any ingredients from laboratories that conduct tests on animals? No Do you have documents to support this? Yes, we have attestations from our suppliers supporting this.

5. Are the products sold in any markets where animal testing is required by local law and regulations (China, etc)? No

6. Are the products vegetarian? (no animals killed for the products – i.e. some forms of collagen, squalane, etc.) Most of our products are vegetarian. However, there are a few products that might contain animal derived ingredients, like collagen. Which is ethically sourced and taken from the by-products which is not intended for human consumption.

7. Are the products vegan? (i.e. product ingredients that come from animals like lanolin, honey, milk, etc. – being vegan is NOT necessary for my blog, but a bonus for my vegan readers) Although most of our product are vegan friendly, we do have some products that still contain animal derived ingredients (examples would be lanolin, collagen, albumin). We label all our products either on packaging or the website to indicate which products are vegan friendly.

8. Is your company certified by Leaping Bunny? (It’s easy to get certified by LeapingBunny.org and it’s free to join without licensing the logo) No, we have not reached out to receive certification by Leaping Bunny at this time.

I was happy to hear that they passed the test and I can now consider Cosmedix cruelty free! I have added them to my cruelty free beauty brand list. One point I need to make for question number three though – just because a brand sells in Europe, does NOT mean they are cruelty free. There are a lot of loopholes, and a brand can sell in Europe AND still sell in regions that require animal testing (like most provinces in China).

BECCA BFFs Khloe and Malika Collection Review and Swatches

BECCA BFFs Khloe Kardashian and Malika Haqq Collection Review and Swatches

BECCA BFFs Khloe and Malika Collection Review and Swatches

BECCA has just launched the BECCA BFFs collection with Khloe Kardashian and her BFF, Malika Haqq. There are two full-face (blush, highligher and bronzer) palettes, one stand-alone bronzer and four lipsticks. The looks you can create with these are super warm, glowy and sun-kissed (pretty standard for the Kardashian crew!) with either a super glam red lip or a low-key neutral one.

BECCA BFFs Made With Love by Khloe palette

The BECCA Made With Love By Khloé palette comes with four shades: a highlighter, bronzer and two blush colors. It includes:

  • Satin Matte Bronzer in Koko Bronze (a neutral, medium tan w/ a smooth, satin matte finish. Sheer, buildable formula)
  • Soft Focus Highlighter in Glow Up (a warm, creamy vanilla that creates a smooth, soft focus, natural glow on skin)
  • Radiant Blush in Fierce (a warm peach that adds a flush of color and pop of glow)
  • Radiant Blush in Fabulosity (a cool pink that adds a flush of color and pop of glow)

BECCA BFFs Made With Love by Malika palette

The BECCA Made With Love By Malika palette also comes with four shades: a highlighter, bronzer and two blush colors. It includes:

  • Satin Matte Bronzer in Bestie Bronze (a warm, tan w/ a smooth, satin matte finish. Sheer, buildable formula)
  • Soft Focus Highlighter in Dusted (a peachy pink that creates a smooth, soft focus, natural glow on skin
  • Radiant Blush in Make Me Blush (a golden rose that adds a flush of color and pop of glow
  • Radiant Blush in Yes Girl! (a warm, vibrant coral that adds a flush of color and pop of glow)

BECCA BFFS Khloe and Malika Glow Letters Bronzer

The BECCA Glow Letters bronzer may look like dog food kibble (at least 10 people have said that when I’ve shared pics on social), but the color payoff is gorgeous. After reading reviews online, I think a lot of people were unhappy because the packaging is cardboard, and the letters don’t fill up the jar. I think what you’re getting is worth the price, but because BECCA used a larger jar, it appears to be a little lacking. A lot of the reviews say they received a lot of broken pieces in the mail too, but honestly you may want to crush them up a bit so the colors are more mixed. So… bronzer win, but packaging fail. I think the color is gorgeous – it’s sort of like caffeine for my face. A little on my cheeks, nose, chin, forehead and eyelids, and I have a glowy look in less than 30 seconds.

BECCA BFFs Ultimate Lipstick Love Khloe Kardashian - Hot Tamale and Cupid's Kiss

There are four shades of BECCA BFFs Khloe and Malika Ultimate Lipstick Love, and they’re all gorgeous. There are two neutrals (one more pinky and medium-toned and one darker toned) and two super glam reds (one is so warm it’s bordering on orange-y and one is more of a dark blue-based red).

They are ultra-creamy and hydrating and infused with hyaluronic acid and avocado oil (perfect for winter’s chapped lips). They are long-lasting, but at the same time, they do come off on everything you eat or drink. BECCA says they last 8 hours, but they aren’t long-wear, so you will need to re-apply throughout the day. The trade-off is that they are very hydrating and don’t suck all the moisture out of my lips like long-wear lipsticks do.

Hot Tamale – A spicy red with warm undertones developed in collaboration with Khloé Kardashian. “When I put this on I feel sexy and just glamorous, it’s my dream” – Khloé Kardashian

Cupids Kiss – A rich, toasty neutral

BECCA BFFs Malika Haqq Ultimate Lipstick Love - Yours Truly and Brave

Yours Truly – A delicate, pinky neutral developed in collaboration with Malika Haqq. “This is the best nude ever” – Malika

Brave – A glamorous true red with cool undertones

BECCA BFFs Khloe and Malika Collection Try On LOTD

It’s amazing how colors will look completely different on different skin tones. For my pale olive skin, the Made With Love by Khloe palette worked very well (pictured). I really like warm, gold/orange-y tones like this for my skin. The Malika palette shades are too bold for my cheeks, but I used them as eyeshadow in the photo above. I don’t usually like to put highlighter on the tops of my cheeks because it shows off the texture in my skin and fine lines (especially when my skin is dry). I could have FaceTuned this pic, but I wanted to show you how it really looks. Normally, I prefer to put shimmery highlighter closer to my temples, at the tip of my nose and sometimes on my cupid’s bow (if my lips aren’t too chapped!). For reference, I’m wearing the Kevyn Aucoin light contour in this pic along with Koko Bronze, Glow Up and Fierce.

For lipstick, I’m usually more of a warm red kind of girl, but I’m not kidding when I say that I put on “Brave” (Malika’s blue-based red pictured above), it made my whole day better! I was in a bad mood, and when I put that on, I swear to you – everything changed! On my pale olive skin, it looked very bright – much brighter than in the tube or even on my arm swatches – but it was a wearable bright for me. I found Khloe’s red, “Hot Tamale”, to be way too bright for my skin tone, but I think it would be gorgeous on someone with more melanin. As for the neutral lippies, I found Malika’s creation, “Yours Truly” to be a really nice, wearable shade. It wasn’t too brown on me and the pink helped to soften it. Khloe’s lipstick, “Cupid’s Kiss” was definitely a brown on my skin tone – not something I’d wear often.

Overall, I’m impressed with the collection! What do you guys think?

New Street Style Brow Products from Urban Decay

Urban Decay Street Style Brow Products Review and Swatches

Urban Decay Street Style Brow Products Review and Swatches

Urban Decay is about to release their new Street Style Brow collection, and I am here for it! I think they are going to give Benefit and Anastasia a run for their money with these new products. (Benefit is not cruelty free by the way – so I stay far away.) There are seven shades in the new UD collection, which covers A LOT of territory. Considering how edgy Urban Decay is, I’m kind of surprised they don’t have “fantasy colors” like pink and purple, but maybe that’s coming. Included in the new collection are FOUR different products: Double Down Brow (brow powder palette), Brow Blade (double ended brow pencil and ink stain), Brow Endowed (double ended spoolie brush with primer and color) and Brow Finish (waterproof brow gel).

Urban Decay Street Style Double Down Brow Products Review

Urban Decay Double Down Brow Products Review and Swatches

Let’s talk about the Double Down Brow first. Urban Decay calls this a “brow putty.” This seems more like a brow powder to me, although the color is buildable and maybe slightly thicker than ordinary powder. When I hear “putty” I think of Anastasia’s Dipbrow pomade or Chella’s Brow Cream. Each Double Down Brow palette comes with two shades (swatched below) and a double-sided angled brush and spoolie.

Urban Decay Street Style Double Down Brow Products Swatches

If you’re not sure which shade to try, go with Taupe Trap – it’s a pretty universally flattering color. But if you’re a redhead, you’ll probably want to go with the warmer Ginger Snap, and if you have darker features or need something warmer or more neutral, try one of the other shades. I’m still experimenting to figure out which shade is best for me. I had microblading done about a year ago and it’s faded out to a powder brow look and a color that is way too warm for my liking. So I’m still playing around with colors and different types of brow products to figure out what works for me. So far I’m liking several of these shades.

Urban Decay Brow Blade Review and Swatches

Urban Decay’s Brow Blade is a great new product, and one I haven’t tried before. On one end is a small, waterproof brow pencil. On the other end (instead of the usual spoolie) is a felt pen ink stain. The pencil is nice and small, which I prefer, for maximum control. The felt pen is flexible, like a felt tip eyeliner pen/brush. So, if you’re good at eyeliner, you’ll be able to create a line that is thicker at the base and fans out to a sharp flick. If that’s your bag, this might be just what you’re missing in your life. I personally have never really mastered this type of eyeliner, so I would prefer a stiffer, very thin pen – more like a microblading tool.

Urban Decay Brow Blade Waterproof Eyebrow Pencil

Urban Decay Brow Blade Ink Stain

I thought this would help me create some fake hairs at the inner corners of my brows, and it does. But I’m not very good at it so there’s definitely a learning curve. The ink doesn’t bleed, which is amazing. I found that I need to go a shade darker than normal if I want to create stand-alone fake hairs that stand apart from the rest of my brows. I went about three shades darker at first (using Dark Drapes), but then realized that was too much. It seemed like the color oxidized and went even MORE dark after about 20-30 minutes. I tried to replicate this on my arm to show you guys but it didn’t seem to change color. So I can only assume that it mixed with the oils on my face and darkened. So it would be best if you could try it before buying, but if not, you may want to err on the side of too light rather than too dark to be safe.

Oh and this stuff STAYS PUT – you’ll want to make sure you rub it off immediately if you make a mistake. Otherwise you’ll want to use a good oil cleanser to remove it. If you want to make sure it stays on all day, you can top it off with All Nighter Setting Spray or use the new Brow Finish waterproof setting gel.

Urban Decay Brow Blade Swatches

Above are swatches of the Urban Decay Brow Blade pencils and ink stains (3 left-hand strokes are pencil and 3 right-hand strokes are ink stain). I took this pic about 30 minutes after applying and didn’t see any oxidation or darkening. Left to right and top to bottom: Taupe Trap, Gingersnap, Brown Sugar, Cafe Kitty, Brunette Betty, Neutral Nana, and Dark Drapes. It seems to me that they appear darker when you actually use them where they’re meant to be used – on your brows.

Urban Decay Brow Endowed Eyebrow Color

The new Urban Decay Brow Endowed product is a double-ended spoolie brush with primer on one end and brow color on the other. The spoolie is what they are calling a “micro-spoolie” and I really love the small size. I find it easier to control and I get more product on the brows instead of all over the skin around them! The primer gives you more volume, which is great if your brows are sparse. Both the primer and the color have setting powers too, so your brows will not move after you coat and shape them. Brow Endowed comes in the same seven shades mentioned for the other products.

Urban Decay Brow Finish Eyebrow Setting Gel

Urban Decay Brow Finish Eyebrow Waterproof Brow Gel

Urban Decay Brow Finish is a waterproof brow setting gel. What sets this product apart from others is the shape of the brush. It’s small enough to do the job without getting all over your skin, and the angled tip lets you get the smaller hairs in the corners. It comes in Ozone (clear) and Midnight Cowboy (a slightly rose gold shimmer). Midnight Cowboy doesn’t leave a metallic or heavily pigmented color on your brows – it’s more like a slight sparkle. I prefer the clear, but the colored one might look good on a blonde or a redhead.

Overall, I’m really impressed with the new brow products from Urban Decay. I think Double Down Brow (the powder palette) and Brow Blade (the pencil/ink stain) are my favorites. I’ll probably use them the most because my brows are already pretty thick, but sparse in areas, so with these, I can get a more precise line where I need it. Which ones will you be trying?
